2005. OLDIES KICK SOME YOUNG BUTT .. (oh Yeah)

The oldies bounced back from the last two defeats to again enter the winners circle.
Played before another big noisey crowd the Olds ran in 7 tries to 2 to beat the Younguns
by 28 points to 8.

The day was handicapped by continual power problems which resulted in unstable lighting as the game continued into the night. If fact the game came to a premature end due to just one to many power failures. (the council is onto the problem as we type)

It was a great day for the Cancer Fund and through everyones wonderful support we were able to present the Capricorn Coast Branch of the Cancer Fund with $2,750.85.
