They did it again, the first time in our 8 year history, the
Youngies have won back to back..
The Oldies are already preparing for next years "war". How dare
they win two on the trot.
The Youngies used the superior fitness, and the good lords serving of very
hot weather,
to wear down the old legs of their more experienced foes.
The final score was 32 points to 16.
The Oldies were able to save some face after winning the final quarter of
the game, when at
the time they were reduced to two only capable reserves..
Man of the Match was Jessie Jenkins, closely followed by Aaron Solito and
Myles Svendsen, and the match was brilliantly refereed by Kerry Flynn .
